With a background in fashion and content creation, Rae Rockwell launched her interior design studio in 2021, creating one-of-a-kind spaces for short-term rentals, residential homes, and commercial spaces.

While known for her bold and eclectic interiors that blend modern themes with whimsical details and layers of texture, Rae relishes the opportunity to switch things up and create interior spaces that reflect the individuality of each project.

Rae has worked on many projects in the high desert, including her own vacation rental, Flamingo Social Club, and has completed commercial projects as far afield as the VIP balcony of a historical theater, The Studebaker, in Chicago.

Rae brings a unique perspective to her work. She co-founded a creative agency and a photo studio in downtown Los Angeles, giving her a foundation for crafting visually engaging media that brings spaces to life. Her experience in content creation is integrated into her design approach, ensuring that every viewpoint is photo-worthy. She has a track record of successfully collaborating with brands, including Fireclay Tile, Mitzi Lighting, Dunn Edwards, Joybird, and Zia Tile.

At Rae Rockwell Studio, we believe that a successful design project begins with a thorough understanding of our client's needs, desires, and end goal.

Our process begins with a review of the project details, followed by a client discovery call and a creative questionnaire to get to know our client's vision for the project. From there, we build out a moodboard and personalized plan of action for the project, ensuring that we are aligned with our client's vision every step of the way.

We are your dedicated design partner, taking you through every stage of your project, from concept to implementation. We handle all of the selections for materials, furniture, lighting, and every other visual detail.

Working closely with architects, contractors, project managers, and other trade members, we simplify the process and bring a light and fun approach to the experience.

 
Rae is known for her VERSATILITY and ABILITY TO ADAPT to her client's needs. She has a keen sense of COLOR AND TEXTURE, and can effortlessly switch between different design aesthetics.

She has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of how to use color and texture to create a cohesive and visually stunning space. Whether the project calls for a bold and playful approach or a more subdued and refined look, Rae has the skills and expertise to deliver a space that exceeds expectations.
